The Serpenti Tubogas Watch line pays tribute to the iconic Serpenti design, one of the most enduring symbols of Bvlgari’s creative universe. The reptile has been a source of inspiration for all civilizations, symbolizing life, wisdom and eternity, transcending all ages and eternally expressing its magnificence. Tubogas appears the first time in Bulgari watches and jewels in the ’40. After 70 years, the manufacturing technique used is the same. Tubogas technique requires an enormous amount of time and specialized labour to produce: it consists of wrapping two long gold or steel strips with raised edges around a metal core, which is later removed. The whole process in entirely handmade. The final result is an extreme flexible band with sleek and polished contours without soldering.
