Case in rose gold 750/1000 set with 40 brilliant-cut diamonds and beaded crown set with one brilliant-cut diamond of 0.47 carat, silvered dial, blued-steel sword-shaped hands, mineral crystal, rose gold 750/1000 bracelet. Case dimensions: 29.5 mm x 22 mm. Thickness: 6.8 mm. Water-resistant to 3 bar (approx. 30 meters).
Louis Cartier created the Tank watch in 1917. A legend was born. The first prototype was presented as a gift to General Pershing some years before the watch was brought to market in 1919. The lugs blend seamlessly into the stark edges of flat vertical brancards, lending the watch its unique aesthetic.
